Dear Parents: we are writing to inform you about the start of next school year regarding hygiene and safety protocols.

Dear Parents: as we are unable to organise transition visits for pupils moving between departments we would like to inform you about the initial arrangements we are making to prepare the children for this change.

Dear Parents and Students: as you know, since the 16th March the school has been providing online teaching and learning and will continue to do so until the end of the school year, which is the 26th June in our case.

Just to remind you that the children from Reception to Year 6 all have access to reading books via their Active Learn account.

reportsDear Parents: please read information below regarding the end of year report cards that the Infant, Primary and Secondary students will receive on Friday 19th June.

examsWe have received information from Cambridge CAIE by which the board informs that IGCSE, AS and A-Level examinations will take place despite the UK government's announcement yesterday. Cambridge understands this cancellation affects only schools in the UK and not British schools abroad.

cancelledWe inform you that due to the current situation, we've had to cancel the Chira camping both for the Primary department (and therefore the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday 17), as well as for the Maspalomas department.

online learningGiven the exceptional circumstances created by Coronavirus and the closure of the school, all departments will be setting work and activities to ensure the children's continued learning. This will begin from Monday 16th March until further notice.

El Gobierno de Canarias ha decidido hoy, jueves 12 de marzo, con la coordinación de las Consejerías de Sanidad y Educación, Universidades, Cultura y Deportes, la suspensión de la actividad lectiva en todos los centros educativos del Archipiélago desde mañana viernes, 13 de marzo, y durante un periodo de dos semanas (14 días).

Health and Hygiene campaigns have been put into place in all departments of the school to ensure pupils are following the guidance from the health authorities. This is being done as part of our usual PSHE program and without causing unnecessary alarm.

By order of the Ministry, the school in Maspalomas will remain closed. We remind you that the schools in Las Palmas will remain closed Monday and Tuesday due to Carnival.

siblingsThose parents who have reserved a place for a brother or a sister, will receive an envelope this week with the enrolment forms and a letter requesting the documentation needed in order to formalise the enrolment. Please hand in the envelope with the forms and the documents before Friday 28th February.
