School Tuition Fees

The first payment for the following school year is charged in June. New enrolments must pay this amount when the place is reserved/formalised. The enrolment fee will be revised and adjusted when the child enters the school, according to the school prices for that year. The school fees include a study insurance which covers parental death or death of a legal guardian under the age of 75. The insurance covers 50% of the academic fees for all sibilings until they finish their studies at Canterbury School.

School dinner service from September to June

September and October’s school dinners will be charged together in October to those Primary pupils using the service. Secondary pupils must request the service in writing. For cancellations, see section written notice below. All siblings must be inscribed in this service to apply the discount. Infant pupils will be inscribed in this service automatically at the end of September.

New admissions: €2,500 deposit

The new students should pay a deposit, which will be returned in full when the child leaves the school, unless the pupil does not complete the school year. If the pupil’s registration is cancelled before the school year begins, the deposit will not be returned. If the pupil leaves before the completion of the school year for any reason outside the school’s control, the cost for the remaining months of the school year will be deducted from the deposit.

Early drop off Infant & Primary

School day begins at 8:30 am. Children who arrive before 8:00, will automatically go to a classroom where they will be supervised by an adult. This will involve an extra charge indicated above. Please request the service in writing. You may find the form on the school website or send an email. This amount will be included in the monthly bill.

External exams fees

The cost of the external exams is not included in the tuition fees. In order register in those exams, school payments must be updated. Pupils attending Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13, are offered the option to pay for the external exams in instalments between the months of September and February. Approximately in March and once the entries have been finalised, the amount will be adjusted accordingly. If would like to take this option, please request it by email. The request will only be valid with the acknowledgment of receipt. The monthly instalments of the necessary number of exams will be as followed.

Written notices

School lunch service. Please notify in writing before the 25th of the current month if you do not wish to continue using this service or 5 working days in advance in case of holidays to be effective the following month.

Bank account details changes must be informed through SEPA form. This may be downloaded from the school web site.

After school activities. Please notify in writing before the end of term if you do not wish to continue the next one.

Cancelling a place at the school. If you wish to cancel the place for the following school year, please inform us in writing before 1st May of the current year. After this date, the 1st payment of the following school year (June) must be paid. Cancellations after 10th July will also pay the 2nd payment of the school year (September). Cancellations during the school year, must be informed before 10th of the previous month or 10 working days in advance in case of holidays.
