Carnaval Secundaria 2016
El viernes 5 de febrero, se celebró en nuestro centro de Secundaria el día de carnaval. El alumnado de S5 tuvo bajo su responsabilidad la organización de tan esperado evento.
S2 Lectucrea 2016
El viernes 19 de febrero con motivo de la celebración del día de las letras canarias nuestro colegio inauguró Lectucrea.
P6-S2 Santa Cristina
P6-S2 students spent the day at Santa Cristina playing House team games to get points and prizes. The games included, volleyball, toothbrush hockey, bouls, football, tug-of-war and many others.
S2 Options Fair
Thank you to everyone who participated in the S2 options fair! S4-6 students shared their knowledge and experiences with S2 students to help them make informed decisions for their IGCSE subject choices. Special thanks to Ms. Philippa for organising the event!
Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards: Every year Cambridge distinguishes a group of students around the world for their success in their IGCSE, AS or A level exams in the previous year's examinations (June 2015). This year the following Canterbury students have been distinguished:
From Philadelphia to GC
Students from the Episcopal Academy of Pennsylvania have journeyed to Gran Canaria to complete the exchange program initiated in October.
Carlota Sánchez Merino
Carlota Sánchez Merino of S4 has won the Sailing National Championship in Laser 4.7. Carlota, as well as a top student, has proved to be a top sport woman. Congratulations!
P6 Treasure Hunt
P6 spent 3 weeks searching for some treasure which had been hidden by Spanish teacher Salvador. In order to find it they had to follow clues and find out information.
P6 Football Competition
The P6 House Football competition with Mr Marc has now finished with Garajonay (yellow) House narrowly beating Teide (blue) House.

S5-S6 in Philadelphia
Some of our S5 and S6 students are in Philadephia participating in an exchange programme with the Episcopal Academy.
House Representatives
After many weeks of deliberation the S6 House leaders have chosen the lower school house reps to help them collect the house points and pass on important messages to the form groups.
S4 in the CAAM
As part of the S4 art coursework students need to visit a local exhibition and find out about local artists.
P6-S2 in La Laja
Nublo House and Garajonay House have already been out to La Laja beach to play team games in order to win house points.
S1-S2 Rugby Competition
S1 and S2 rugby has come to an exciting end with the red team (Timanfaya) just narrowly beating the blue team (Teide) in the final. All students who played did very well and thanks to Mr. Edwards for organising the event!
S3-S4 in Casa Colón
Upper school art students visited Casa Colon to observe first hand the paintings done by many Spanish artists. They also got to meet the resident parrots and see some of the aboriginal sculptures and artefacts. It was a very productive day!
S3 in thel Museo Canario
S3 art students visited the Canarian Museum to look at the skulls and animals. They spent time drawing and taking photos to work back in the classroom.
