Junior Carnival
Carnival has arrived and we will be celebrating our party on Friday 4th March. We remind parents that this party is for the children to celebrate with their teachers only. This year it would help us to enjoy the day more, if the children came to school already dressed in their costumes. We ask you to ensure that the children wear or bring comfortable shoes as they will be playing games, dancing, etc. throughout the day. It is also important that they bring something warm to wear (coat, jacket) as the weather is changeable and some costumes are very thin. Thank you for your understanding.
The school will be closed for the Carnival Holiday on the 7th and 8th March.

World Book Day
The idea is that students try to match each teacher with their favourite book. This should be a fun and challenging activity for them, and will hopefully inspire them to read some of the books mentioned.
It will be 1 Euro to take part, and the proceeds will be used to buy a prize for the 3 students who achieve the most correct matches and to purchase the books mentioned in the contest by the teachers so that they can be part of the Secondary Library.
The competition display will be along the main corridor, and entry forms will be available from the English Department next week.
We hope as many students as possible will take part although it has to be emphasized that this a completely voluntary contest
Good Luck!
